We’re proud to announce the Second PRIDE edition of Nerd Nite HK. Join us for an evening of engaging, thought-provoking talks covering gender, sex, and relationships. We aim to bring people together, challenge assumptions, and break taboos within the LGBTQIA+ community and beyond. Everyone is welcome.

Topic: Will you stand with Intersex?
Bio: Small Luk is an Intersex person from Hong Kong; she was born gender-ambiguous. She has suffered numerous painful surgeries and unwilling gender identity from non-consensual treatment and discrimination from a binary gender society.
During her childhood, doctors performed surgeries on her genitals over 20 times. When she was 36 years old, doctors found she is an Intersex with Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome. Small founded “Beyond the boundary-knowing and concerns Intersex” since 2010, asking society stop the genital-normalizing surgeries on intersex children, stop violence to Intersex, and educate the public know about intersex people.

Bio: Shawn P Griffin is a multidisciplinary artist, producer, and Board Certified Sexologist with 5 years of experience in the intimacy education space. He recently founded The Bussybuilder, and intimacy product and coaching company aimed at designing products for people with prostates.
He is also known as drag queen Poise’n Grace, a Nerd Nite alumnus who has performed in and produced drag shows since 2016, and is currently the Chair of Culture for the Federation of Gay Games.
